From their humble beginnings in 1987 as a fabric house, Hertex has grown into the largest national fabric company in South Africa. We are proud to have assisted Hertex in growing their online platform.
Hertex was working with a combination of systems (Microsoft Excel and Pastel) to manage their stock, clients and orders while also assisting walk-in clients on the floor. They needed an integrated system that would allow clients to purchase stock and allow their staff to manage the stock and orders while facilitating interactions with clients.
Hertex had a number of requirements, most notably wanting the online ordering platform to maintain the look and feel of the existing store and the brand. We rebuilt their online ordering platform, with a frontend login (for clients), as well as system-side login, for the management of stock, orders and more.
