Myplas
The Client
Myplas is a company that works hard every day to clean up the South African environment, through the collection, processing and upcycling of plastic waste. Their dream is of a circular economy where recycling is prioritized and as little as possible is produced virgin. They offer upcycled plastic solutions to both international and local manufacturers, who package and sell their products to an educated consumer-base that has begun to demand sustainable packaging solutions.
The Challenge
Myplas was inspired to request a redesign of their website after we completed a very handsome corporate folder, which illustrated their entire process for them. Their main concerns were that their old website was not mobile responsive and they were worried about clients struggling to locate them. Secondly, they wanted to showcase their new product Mypolen, and their unique processes and procedures. They required a website that would portray a more professional business image, as they market nationally, internationally and throughout Africa.
The Approach
We suggested continuing on the WordPress platform, however, we felt a considerable rebrand of the website was required. We recommended that the revised website reflect the look and feel of the corporate folder which they were very happy with. In addition, as they wanted to gain better traction in Google with their website, we recommended a variety of SEO strategies, including a blog facility on the website, to assist them with this goal.
The Marketing Tools
Shortly after their website was completed Myplas approached us to create a brochure for their new product Mypolen. We brainstormed with them and proposed a brochure printed in high quality. Their new clientele is more discerning and the high quality would encourage them to engage with and keep the brochure. Myplas have continued to work with us as their Myplas and Mypolen brands have grown over the last couple of years. We have designed letterheads, business cards and email signatures and most recently created marketing collateral to approach new markets with. We are proud to continue to assist their burgeoning business.
