The Client
SA Tyre is the proud distributor of large international tyre brands, such as Pirelli and Goodyear, nationwide. They distribute a variety of tyres for passenger, utility and commercial vehicles.
The Challenge
SA Tyre approached us to replace their outdated online ordering system. As a base, they required a system that their clients could use to order tyres. However, the system also needed catalogue functionality to enable clients to check tyre prices and view which tyres were available in specific regions of South Africa.
As we started to investigate their required solution, it became clear that there was a need to integrate with various data sources to create a better, streamlined solution.
The Approach
We presented them with our OCTO integration toolset, as it would drastically reduce SA Tyre’ costs. We used our OCTO APIs to integrate with their Sage system, the customised catalogue interface and the ordering dashboard.
Ongoing Support
We continue to provide ongoing support and maintain their system as required. We have also made sure to cater for future expansion, through the use of OCTO, which continues to develop and evolve
